GTD

Been thinking a lot about the Getting Things Done system, trying to figure out if it's easier to use a notebook or a PDA (by the time my tasks have loaded, I've always forgotten what I wanted to do) or scrawling on any piece of paper that might be next to me to get whatever's on my list out of my head. But, seriously, my shopping and to-do items aren't the only things that distract me. I mean, how do you break down things like "resolve morally foundational disagreements about subcultural stance with husband" into manageable tasks? Maybe there's an IGO-produced document to reference...

Forgive me for the (unsolicited?) advice, but if you analyze your "disagreements" by:
1) Writing them down,
2) Defining the sources of disagreement,
3) Brainstorm possible sub-tasks for addressing each source,

...you will then have a workable platform from which to:
4) Identify possible barriers and
5) Target ways to overcome them,
6) Set a due date and,
7) Track your progress in your calendar.

I trust this helps!
